In recent times, Corporate Social Responsibility has become much more than a mere duty; it has transformed into a strategy for creating positive social impact. The InAmigos Foundation plays a vital role in this mission. The organization helps women become empowered by educating them, imparting skills, and developing their leadership qualities and community ties. It was founded on September 23, 2020, by Mr. Govind Shukla in the state of Chhattisgarh. This registered non-governmental organization has achieved various certifications, such as 80G, 12A, CSR-1, and ISO 9001:2015. 

 

Project Udaan: The Flagship Program 

  

The core focus of the work done by InAmigos Foundation lies in Project Udaan – the flagship program that aims at empowering women socially, economically, and emotionally. Its slogan is rather straightforward: support the women to develop skills, build confidence, and soar out of the clutches of societal stereotypes. With its skill training programs in crafts, tailoring, computers, and technology, Project Udaan has empowered more than 900 girls and women through education and training. 

  

This empowerment is visible from the results that the women participating in the program have achieved. They have become more confident and independent, bridged the gap in employment for women, joined health camps and workshops, focused on safety and empowerment, received education, and gained economic independence. 

 

Importance of CSR Partnerships 

  

The CSR partnerships with InAmigos Foundation help in building a link between corporate strengths and grassroots requirements. The involvement of corporations helps in providing not just funding, but also expertise, mentoring, technology, and strategies to support their CSR efforts.
